Amanda Ireland-Esquivel (she/her)

Amanda is a Hispanic woman in long term recovery from substance use disorder. Amanda has lived experience with addiction, incarceration, and houselessness. She was born and raised in Southern Oregon and moved to Portland in January of 2020 to pursue a graphic design degree at Portland State University. She soon found a passion for providing recovery services to the LGBTQIA2s+ community and advocating for expansion of treatment and recovery services. She currently holds a CRMII, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and teaches a LGBTQ+ cultural competency training focused on peer work.

Mico Morran (he/him)

CRMII
Mico was born in the Midwest and escaped via a cross-country road trip. He lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 10 years before moving to Portland. Mico is in recovery from SUD and has been actively involved in the recovery community for the past 4 years. Mico is CRM certified and is currently the Community Center Director of True Colors Recovery. He dreams of making True Colors a place for the LGBTQIA2S+ community to feel safe and accepted for who they truly are. He also hopes to create an environment where everyone from the recovery community feels like they have a voice. Mico is a Sagittarius, and parent to a dog, Ziggy and a cat, Harlow.

Nova is a neurodivergent, queer, and trans person who has been sober since October 26th, 2018. Nova has worked in the addiction recovery field since 2019 and he is especially passionate about harm reduction and allowing people to recover in whatever way suits them best. When he is not working, he loves singing with the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus, snuggling with his dog Cosmo, singing along loudly to Broadway musicals in his car, and playing Skyrim.

Chris brings a strong foundation of experience, education, and heart-centered leadership to his role at Rogue Recovery Center. Chris spent the past two years at True Colors Recovery growing from RSSC to Mentor and now bring his passion for recovery to Grants Pass. Chris’ approach is grounded in the belief that recovery is not just about rebuilding a life, but reconnecting with a deeper sense of purpose, spirit, and community. Returning to Southern Oregon—where his family lives—marks the beginning of a new chapter guided by service, growth, and gratitude. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, spending time with his two cats, Gaia and Ephy, and pursuing adventures that nurture both body and soul.
